Josh Turner is becoming a country music superstar these days. His new album that released last month is tearing up the charts and there is no wonder why. Josh Turner is just awesome, and his new album reminds all of us that big label Nashville music need not sound like, well, big label Nashville music. Turner’s great bass voice rises these solid tracks into a classic album. The new album uses traditional country sounds and instruments to support his songs which range in subject from life in the trailer park to the life if God.
If this keeps up I would expect to see Josh with a strong showing at the Country Music Awards next year. This past year he was nominated for one CMA but next year he could win Album of the year. Besides having an awesome name Turner is a superstar. Now his famous song has simply permeated every ones souls and people can’t get enough of him.
Josh Turner was born on November 20, 1977 in Hannah, South Carolina. Hannah is in the heart of the Carolinas. Josh is an country music singer and songwriter who has signed with MCA Nashville Records. Josh made his singing debut on the country music charts with the Top 20 single “Long Black Train”.
